February is National Children’s Dental Health Month and we have special plans for you Hingham.
Each February, the American Dental Association (ADA) sponsors National Children’s Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health. And we are here to help our Hingham patients kick start the month with some oral health tips!
Children should see a dentist every six months because developing good oral health habits early on will lead to a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. Luckily, we are right down the street from Hingham and we offer appointments 5 days per week from 8AM-5PM.
Children are susceptible to developing cavities if their brushing and flossing routine is not established at a young age. In fact, tooth decay is the most common chronic childhood disease! It is five times more common than asthma and seven times more common than hay fever in 5- to 17-year-olds. Oral health care is important stuff! So if you live in Hingham and are in need of a pediatric dentist call or text today. We are proud to service the entire South Shore community including patients in Cohasset, Hingham, Scituate, Hull and beyond!
Also, in recognition of this special dental month we will be visiting local schools (including more than 5 schools in Hingham) to gather the children and teach them about all the ways they can take good care of their teeth. Hingham schools should be commended for their participation in this program!
