Each professional from our team is truly a ray of light and love to our patients and their families. With a deep passion for what they do, they are at the top of their dentistry and mom games.

Mary | Registered Dental Hygienist

Mary has been with SSCD for nearly two decades and agrees with the rest of her team that the people are what make it so great. Her team gives her nothing but love and light, and she’s thankful for it. Mary strives to do the same for them as well as all of our patients, of course!

Favorite tooth: Any one that is squeaky clean.

Lisa | Registered Dental Hygienist

Lisa’s been a dental hygienist for 34 years and still gets such a kick out of making little ones happy. Getting to connect with the kids and giving them a good visit is the best part of the job for her. She also loves that our scholarship program is available to our seniors that we’ve gotten to watch grow up right before our eyes.

Fav tooth: Those sharp canines that give everyone’s smile character!

Colleen | Registered Dental Hygienist

After moving away for some time, Colleen was happy to land at South Shore Children’s Dentistry when she moved back to town. She feels lucky to work with such a dynamic group of women who really make work fun every day and that it’s her job to help children in her community.

Fav tooth: Tooth “C” for Colleen, of course!

Margaret | Registered Dental Hygienist

Margaret followed Dr. G. to South Shore Children’s Dentistry after they’d had a great time working together at a previous practice. She loves her coworkers, but especially enjoys working with children and getting to know their families over years of taking care of them. Margaret also loves to get out of the office with the team to visit local schools and give lessons on oral hygiene.

Fav tooth: Central Incisors— cleaning them is easy peasy!

Stephanie | Dental Assistant

Stephanie loves working with kids, especially ones with behavioral struggles that some might see as challenging to treat. Seeing them put the work in to communicate well and have a great visit is always a treat for her.

Fav tooth: Tooth “S” for Stephanie!

Melissa | Certified Dental Assistant

Small world! Melissa was actually Dr. G’s neighbor before becoming a part of the SSCD family! Upon joining the team, she immediately fell in love with her awesome team and the rewarding feeling she gets from helping children every day.

Fav tooth: M! It’s one of the few both of her kids are still holding onto these days.

Sarah | Certified Dental Assistant
Sarah’s been working with the South Shore team for years after following in her mom’s footsteps! She loves her team and the fulfillment she gets from helping patients every day. She also thinks it’s never too early to learn how to care for your teeth and is passionate about the dental hygiene education we do with children.

Julie | Practice Administrator
Julie grew up in the dental world, her dad was a general dentist and her mom was his Practice Administrator! When her father sold his practice, her mom met a young dentist that was just starting her career (Dr. G!) and began working for her. Over time, Julie had children and it was only natural to bring them to South Shore Children’s Dentistry. She fell in love with the way Dr. G and her team treated her family and ended up taking her mom’s role of Practice Administrator when she retired! Julie loves her team and feels lucky to have found such a unique and caring place like SSCD. Being the mom of an autistic child herself, she says it’s been a privilege to see South Shore Children’s Dentistry become a safe haven for the special needs community.

Favorite tooth: Julie loves them all, but thinks the Wisdom Teeth are super smart.

Kaitlyn | Front Desk Manager
Kaitlyn feels blessed to be a part of the amazing team of women who run SSCD. She loves her job and the relationships she gets to form with patients and their families. Watching them grow up right in front of her eyes is a treat, and she especially loves that South Shore Children’s Dentistry celebrates and supports them with our scholarship program!

Favorite tooth: Her sweet tooth, of course!

Betsy | Accounts Receivable Manager
Betsy’s been a beloved member of the South Shore Children’s Dentistry family for over eight years and loves how ingrained in her community the job makes her feel. She loves that our practice is all about giving back, from sponsoring youth sports to helping out organizations that make our communities a better place to live!

Favorite teeth: P & O! They’re usually the first a baby will get and it completely changes their little face!

Kelli | Front Desk
Kelli has been part of the front desk team at SSCD for a decade now and she can’t believe how fast the time has flown! She knows she struck gold in the wonderful team bond our office shares and loves that they all get to care for families as they grow throughout the years.

Carol Ann | Front Desk Administrator
Carol Ann is grateful for her positive and professional South Shore Children’s Dentistry team. She’s so proud of the entire staff’s ability to leave all our Smile Stars happier than they were when they came in. She also loves getting to educate little ones about oral hygiene and getting them excited about their dental care!

Katie | Front Desk

Katie started at Dr. G’s Abington office, but when she spent some helping out at SSCD, she loved the team so much that she decided to stay! We’re so happy she did. An active participant in our community outreach, Katie loves reading the inspiring words from our smile stars when they send in their scholarship essays.

Favorite tooth: Did you know a narwhal’s horn is a tooth? That’s her favorite!

Ann | Front Desk
Ann thoroughly enjoys talking with our patients and their families in her job working our front desk. She absolutely loves our community outreach through school visits and the impact it makes on our littlest patients. On top of all that, she’s super grateful for the wonderful, supportive work family she’s lucked out with.

Jill | Front Desk
Jill feels lucky to be a valued member of the SSCD family. The patients and the staff both make it such a happy place for her to work that she can’t imagine being anywhere else! She also greatly appreciates the way South Shore Children’s Dentistry goes above and beyond to find new ways to give back to the community.
Jen | Marketing & Strategic Project Manager

Jen’s mother actually used to work for Dr. G and after hearing how much she enjoyed it, she had to get in on the action! Ten years later, she’s sure glad she did. Jen loves the emphasis on family and work-life balance that South Shore Children’s Dentistry offers the whole team and especially loves the team itself! She can’t say enough how lucky she is to work with a group of such kind, loving, and talented women.

De | Marketing Manager
De was drawn to South Shore Children’s Dentistry out of appreciation for her fellow female business owner, Dr. G. She now loves using her creativity to collaborate with the SSCD team and help them reach even more smiles in the area. De is also passionate about our community outreach work and feels she is a better person for it.
